The Council subscribes to the INTRAN translation service to enable us to communicate effectively with all people. This includes people who cannot speak English and also people with disabilities that affect their communication abilities.
The service provides interpreters which are readily available to translate over the telephone or face to face through booking an appointment. Documents produced by the council can also be provided in different languages via the INTRAN service.
Racist incidents can also be reported at the Council.
