The Council can provide a wide range of advice to help you find and keep accommodation. The key aim is to offer timely advice to prevent homelessness.
We can offer advice on the following subjects:
- The private rented sector
- Landlord and tenant disputes
- Debt advice
- Relationship breakdown
- Mortgage arrears
- and many more
The Council has access to a mediation service for family and relationship breakdown, a debt advice referral service and has a rent scheme to assist people find and secure accommodation in the private sector.
